Leadership For Our Future
Know More About

Making Tuscaloosa County a Better Place

In our county, the Probate Judge wears two hats as the Probate Judge also Chairs the County Commission. The prime responsibility of any elected official, especially the Probate Judge & Chair of the County Commission, should be service! This is a guiding principle of my leadership style.

Our government exists to serve its citizens by managing taxpayers money. When government is entrusted with taxpayer’s money, funds should be spent wisely and in ways that benefit the most citizens of our county.

"It's all about service."

Workforce Education

I am committed to expanding vocational training and educational partnerships that prepare our citizens for high-demand careers. By investing in a skilled workforce, I will ensure that Tuscaloosa County remains a competitive hub for economic growth and long-term prosperity.

Public Safety & Defense

I am committed to ensuring our first responders have the modern resources they need to keep us safe. Public safety also closely relates to mental health needs. By prioritizing cutting-edge training, proactive safety measures and the excellent equipment, I will help protect Tuscaloosa County against evolving threats to ensure our families can thrive.

Expanding our role in the Alabama’s growing national security economy is also essential for our future economic growth and university research initiatives.

Technology

I believe that innovation is a powerful driver for success, providing the tools necessary to solve modern challenges and create new opportunities for everyone. By embracing a culture of technological advancement, I will empower students, entrepreneurs, and families to connect and compete in a rapidly changing global landscape.

Community Engagement

True leadership is rooted in service. By fostering strong community partnerships, I will ensure that our government remains responsive and accountable. Both non-profit and faith-based organizations are the fabric of our community and essential to solving community challenges.

Agriculture Technology

Our agricultural heritage continues today in our county and I support the integration of modern technology to help local farmers increase productivity and sustainability, while bringing younger generations into the workforce. We should protect our rural resources while embracing new methods of production that keep our farming industry strong.

History Education

Preserving our local history is essential to understanding our community’s identity and guiding our path forward. I support educational initiatives and landmarks that celebrate the rich heritage of Tuscaloosa County for the benefit of future generations.
